John Ronay is the Owner and Director of Field Operations of Blue Moon Construction. Prior to opening his own company in 2003, John was Project Assistant Superintendent with Drees Homes where he first learned the building industry and assisted the Lead Superintendent on site. After two years in this position, he was promoted to Superintendent and responsible for overseeing the building and production of $20 million dollars worth of single family homes. Over a twelve month period, John was awarded eight Builder of the Month Awards.

In 2003, John saw the opportunity to start his own home improvement and remodeling company, Ronay Customs, LLC. The business began with finished basement and deck projects and over the past years has grown to offer any facet of home improvement and remodeling services needed by his clients. He has developed many relationships with local trade partners which have assisted him in building a solid foundation to provide clients with the most up-to-date products and services available.

In 2010, John and Blue Moon Construction was awarded the NARI Contractor of the Year Award for one of their Master Bathroom Renovations.

John is a graduate of George Mason University and is active in many local and civic groups in Loudoun County. He is a sponsor of the Adopt a Highway Program, Loudoun County Little League Association and various Brambleton, Broadlands, and Ashburn area community events. He is a certified member of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and has been nominated for four Contractor of the Year (COTY) Award for 2011.

John's goal as an owner of Blue Moon Construction is to provide "Value" and our "Expectation of Quality" to all of our projects.
